Detailed review
Three identification cues on my Starbucks sample
In this review, I examine three details I use when discussing a VSF-attributed Starbucks: the surface around the hand stack, a reported 6X serial prefix, and a short bezel-click demonstration. The value is seeing where I look and how I handle this sample—and separating those observations from claims that would require stronger identification evidence.
If you are trying to identify a similar green-bezel Submariner, message me through the WhatsApp button on this page. I can help you check whether your photos actually show the relevant detail before drawing a factory or movement conclusion.
What the recording identifies—and what it does not
The green bezel, black dial, date Cyclops, small coronet between SWISS and MADE, and Oyster-style bracelet correspond to the Submariner Date 126610LV design. I introduce the watch as VS Factory with Dandong 3235 / DD3235. The caseback remains closed, so the movement name is my source attribution, not an identification established by this footage.
I call it the third-generation green Submariner in the recording. That wording does not establish a VSF V3 release or a particular green insert revision. There is no documented factory change list, manufacturing date or batch record here. The folder suffix also supplies no version evidence.
The dial contour: a place to inspect, not a factory certificate
At 1:24–1:45, I bring the watch close, point around and just below the central hand mounting point, and vary the viewing angle. A recessed-looking contour is the feature I describe. The pointer, hands and changing crystal reflections partly obscure it; this is a through-crystal inspection, not a measurement of dial depth.
My narration says other factories do not reproduce this detail in the same way and presents it as a strong VSF identification point. That is my professional assessment in the source. I do not place authenticated ARF, Clean Plus, QF or genuine comparison watches beside this sample. The footage therefore cannot establish exclusivity, identical construction to genuine, or the absence of the feature from every other factory.
My earlier Submariner dial-dimple inspection explains the viewing limitations in more detail. This recording adds a green-bezel configuration and combines the dial inspection with a serial-prefix claim and bezel handling; it does not establish a new dial construction or a different factory version.
The reported 6X prefix belongs to the rehaut check
At 2:17–2:28, I describe a serial beginning 6X while pointing toward the inner ring near six o'clock. In precise terminology, this is the rehaut area, rather than printed dial text or a clasp code. The full serial is not independently legible enough in the footage for me to transcribe it character by character. I retain 6X as my spoken reading and do not fill in missing characters.
A prefix can be a useful comparison prompt, but this recording supplies no authenticated factory serial registry. It cannot date the watch, establish a production batch, or prove which movement is inside. Nor can a familiar prefix resolve an unclear dial photograph.
In a Starbucks QC discussion, owners ask whether 6X remains current and discuss another prefix. That is useful context for the buyer question, not a verified chronology. I would compare the actual engraving with the rest of the sample evidence rather than label a watch newer or incorrect from those comments alone.
What the two ten-click sequences show
At 2:44–3:08, I rotate the bezel through two short sequences, count ten clicks in each, and point out alignment with a scale mark. The video preserves the movement and indicated endpoints. My description of crisp feedback is a hands-on assessment; viewers cannot feel that resistance through a screen.
I also describe the bezel as unidirectional and its feel as characteristic of VSF. This clip is not a controlled reverse-locking test, torque measurement, full-revolution detent survey or comparison across factories. Two narrated counts do not establish a factory-wide tolerance or uniquely identify the manufacturer.
In my Starbucks weight, clasp and bezel check, a caption called a bezel action Glidelock. Here the narration explicitly discusses the bezel. This is additional operation evidence, not proof of a changed mechanism. I have not established whether the recordings show the same physical watch, and this episode contains no weighing or clasp inspection.

Strengths
Dial tilt and pointing sequence, rehaut inspection location, and two explicit narrated bezel-count sequences recorded on a green-bezel sample.
What to watch for
No independently transcribed full serial, authenticated factory registry, opened movement, dial-depth measurement or controlled factory comparison.

Questions answered
Can the dial recess, 6X prefix and bezel feel confirm VSF or DD3235?
They are details to inspect together, but this recording does not validate them as a definitive authentication method. The dial view is affected by reflections, 6X is a spoken reading, and bezel feel is a sample assessment. The closed caseback provides no direct evidence of movement architecture or manufacturer.

Current status
Source observations, author identification assessments and community questions remain separate.
Contact me through the existing WhatsApp button with a clear dial view, a short slow tilt, an unobstructed rehaut close-up and a bezel-operation clip. I can help you compare those observations with this recording and identify what remains uncertain, without turning a prefix or reflection into proof of a factory or calibre.
