Detailed review
My Pepsi Jubilee clasp inspection
In this review, I examine a red-and-blue Pepsi GMT on a Jubilee-style bracelet, concentrating on the clasp I identify as F6U, its lettering and the way it releases. These details add a different sample record to my earlier A9A Jubilee and 1NQ Oyster inspections. They do not establish a new factory generation.
If you have a Pepsi with a similar clasp, message me through the WhatsApp button on this page. I can help you compare the visible markings and the handling evidence for your particular watch.
What this recording establishes
- The watch I handle has a black dial, red GMT hand, red-and-blue bezel and five-piece-link Jubilee-style bracelet, corresponding to the 126710BLRO Pepsi design.
- I identify it as VS Factory, commonly called VSF, with a Dandong 3285 or DD3285. The Pepsi's movement is not exposed in this inspection, so that movement identification remains my source attribution.
- The main addition is the clasp sequence at 3:42–4:36: release handling, interior engraving and my F6U identification. Reflections affect the legibility of the small characters.
- I also demonstrate a UV response and inspect the dial centre. Neither observation independently authenticates the factory or a production batch.
F6U and the lettering: a sample record, not an authentication shortcut
At 4:10–4:36, I turn the opened clasp toward the camera and point out letter shapes in its interior engraving. I call attention to a flat-top A and a short middle bar in the lettering, then identify the clasp code as F6U. The close-ups preserve the engraving layout, although polished surfaces, the pointer and changing reflections make some strokes easier to see than others.
What I recommend checking is the complete set of photographs: the code, surrounding lettering, clasp blades and their connection to the bracelet. A typed code in a listing is less informative than a clear view of the actual assembly. Even a readable stamp does not authenticate the watch head, its movement or the bracelet supplier.
My earlier Pepsi Jubilee inspection recorded A9A. My Pepsi Oyster inspection recorded 1NQ. This F6U-labelled Jubilee adds another documented configuration; I have not established a chronological A9A-to-F6U change, interchangeable parts or a uniform VSF clasp specification.
What I feel when opening the clasp
At 3:42–4:10, I handle the clasp and describe how it pops open during release. My favourable assessment concerns the response of this particular assembly. Although I make a strong comparison with a genuine clasp in the recording, I do not show an authenticated comparator or measure release force. That comparison is my tactile judgement, not a demonstrated equivalence.
For sample-specific QC, I would ask for an uninterrupted opening-and-closing clip, followed by a view of the closed clasp, blade engagement and bracelet articulation. Those checks answer a different question from the engraving: how does the assembly actually work? This recording does not establish long-term wear, retention strength or consistency across a batch.
A RepTime discussion about two F6U-marked bracelets describes different handling impressions despite the matching code. That is anecdotal community context, not proof of a supplier change or a measured defect rate. It reinforces the useful buyer question: what can be checked on this individual bracelet beyond its stamp?
Supporting bezel and dial observations
At 2:00–2:11, I illuminate the Pepsi insert with a UV torch. The normally blue area takes on a purple-to-reddish appearance in the recorded lighting. I call the insert V3, but the visible colour response alone does not prove a numbered generation, ceramic composition or factory origin. The wider background to that label is covered in the earlier Pepsi review.
At 2:30–2:49, I manipulate the bezel and describe its rotation as firm, with crisp clicks and little perceived looseness. These are handling impressions; I do not measure torque or angular play.
At 3:02–3:08, I point to a recessed-looking area around the dial's hand stack. The dial is inspected through the crystal, with reflections and the hands obscuring part of the centre. I do not measure its depth or remove the dial. My accompanying statement about factory-specific tooling is professional commentary without manufacturing documentation in this recording; the visible contour should not be treated as an exclusive VSF identifier.

Strengths
F6U-attributed clasp close-ups and release handling, plus supporting UV and dial-centre observations.
What to watch for
No Pepsi movement inspection, free-sprung proof, supplier authentication, calibrated measurements or genuine comparator. Reflections limit some engraving strokes.

Questions answered
Does this video establish a free-sprung DD3285 in the Pepsi?
No. I identify DD3285 verbally, but I do not expose and inspect the Pepsi's regulating mechanism here. Another watch sits open in the background; its movement cannot be assigned to the Pepsi. The source folder's description is not technical evidence of a free-sprung configuration.
Does F6U prove a particular VSF version or bracelet supplier?
No. Here it records my identification of the shown clasp. The recording does not verify a supplier, manufacturing date or version sequence. Compare the actual bracelet, clasp action and markings together, retaining the limits of each observation.
