In this review, I handle a grey-and-black GMT-Master II replica that I identify as VS Factory with a Dandong 3285 movement. The useful distinction is between what I say about a balance upgrade and what the camera actually establishes: exterior close-ups, an F6U clasp marking and a short setting demonstration. The movement stays concealed.

What I can establish on this watch
- The grey/black bezel, black dial, green GMT hand and five-piece-link Jubilee-style bracelet correspond to the 126710GRNR Bruce Wayne design.

The free-sprung statement needs an open-movement check
At 0:54–1:10, I describe the watch as upgraded to a free-sprung balance. At 1:11–1:45, I extend that statement to the VS GMT range. Those are my spoken claims in this recording, not a demonstrated inspection of the balance. The watch remains dial-side up during that explanation. I do not remove the caseback, expose the oscillator or demonstrate regulation.
I also say at 1:51–2:03 that the exterior is unchanged from the earlier index-regulated configuration. No earlier watch is placed alongside it, so this is my comparison assessment rather than a controlled before-and-after result. Neither the outward appearance nor the source-folder suffix establishes when a change occurred or which batches received it.
There is a specific reason to preserve that distinction. In a RepTime discussion of DD3285 and DD3285 V2, participants question the free-sprung label and describe concealed regulating arms. Those comments identify a question to investigate; they do not prove the architecture inside this unopened watch. I cannot resolve that dispute from the exterior footage.
For comparison, Rolex's technical description of its own 3285 specifies a variable-inertia balance adjusted with Microstella nuts. That is genuine-calibre reference information, not a finding about this DD3285-attributed sample. A clear balance-area inspection and a competent explanation of how its rate is adjusted would be stronger evidence than an upgrade label alone.
My earlier VSF Batman opened-movement inspection shows the kind of internal views missing here. It is a different recording, not proof that this Bruce Wayne contains the same arrangement. The existing Dandong 3285 page provides related movement context.
Exterior details that are actually visible
At 2:13–2:49, I bring the bezel closer and point out the black and grey sections. Reflections alter how strongly their boundary appears. I describe a fired ceramic insert, but do not test composition or expose it to UV. My comparison with Pepsi colour behaviour is commentary, not a side-by-side lighting experiment.
At 2:50–3:35, I turn the bezel in both directions. The video preserves the handling sequence. My preference for its tactile feel is a hands-on assessment; the claim that no other factory can reproduce it is not supported by a controlled comparison. There is no measured torque, click-count study or quantified backplay test here.
The hand and marker close-ups at 3:18–3:59 show reflective edges and the green GMT hand. I am pleased with the finish at the recorded viewing scale. My spoken “no burrs” description should not be read as microscopic inspection. Glare and the yellow protective sticker obscure parts of the dial. The footage also does not independently verify my 904L-steel and sapphire statements or establish a precise rehaut-alignment tolerance.
At approximately 4:22, the inside of the clasp clearly shows F6U. That is worth retaining in the sample record alongside the Jubilee-style bracelet. A shared or copied code cannot authenticate the factory, steel grade or concealed balance. The earlier Clean GMT comparison review provides separate factory context; this episode is not a new side-by-side Clean comparison.
The date demonstration is local-hour adjustment
At 4:33–5:03, I demonstrate crown handling, manual winding, setting and closing. The subtitle compresses the intermediate setting position into “adjust the date.” Between 4:43 and 4:50, the hour hand moves independently and the date advances from 12 to 13. The useful description is local-hour adjustment carrying the date across midnight, rather than a conventional standalone quickset-date claim.
This brief sequence supports operation on the filmed sample. It does not verify reserve, daily rate or durability. Screwing the crown back down is also not a water-resistance test.
