Detailed review
My Sprite measurement record
In this review, I put the replica Sprite I identify as VSF on a scale, measure across its bezel and check its thickness. The useful result is a record of this particular watch and my measurement method: the scale shows 141.64 g at 1:18, while I describe it as 141.6 g. The caliper sequence also deserves a closer look than the rounded numbers in my commentary.
If you want help comparing your own Sprite measurements, message me through the WhatsApp button on this page. I can help you check whether the bracelet setup and measuring points are comparable.
What I measured
- Whole watch with Jubilee-style bracelet: the display reads 141.64 g at 1:18; my spoken figure is 141.6 g.
- Across the bezel: the display reads 40.1 mm at 1:42 and 40.2 mm at 1:46–1:50; I round this to 40 in the commentary.
- Thickness: the caliper shows 12.0 mm at 2:04. My narration gives 12.1, 12.0 and 12.1, but the visible readings change as I reposition the jaws.
- Movement: I identify Dandong 3285 in the introduction. The caseback stays closed, so these measurements do not independently establish the movement inside.
These are sample observations, not VSF production specifications or dimensional tolerances.
The weight needs its bracelet context
I zero the scale before placing the assembled watch on it. At 1:18, the green display clearly reads 141.64 g. That supports a displayed reading of roughly 141.6 g for this setup, rather than a rounded factory-wide weight claim.
The bracelet remains fitted and extends beyond the weighing platform. The recording does not independently establish whether any part receives support outside the platform. Protective film is visible, the fitted link count is not documented, and I do not show a certified calibration weight. Those details limit how closely another watch's result can be compared with mine.
For a repeat check, I recommend keeping the entire watch supported only by the scale, recording the link count and film condition, and showing the zero reading and settled result in one sequence. A different bracelet length can make a weight comparison misleading even when the watch configuration is otherwise similar.
Bezel diameter and thickness: read the contact points
At 1:42–1:50, I place the digital caliper across the bezel. Its display moves from 40.1 to 40.2 mm. This is the bezel-area measurement demonstrated here; it should not be relabelled as a separately measured case-body diameter.
The black dial, green-and-black bezel, left-side crown and date window, and five-piece Jubilee-style links correspond to the 126720VTNR Sprite configuration. Rolex describes the genuine Jubilee version as a nominal 40 mm watch in its official reference listing. That design specification and my caliper contact points are different kinds of information; one is not a tolerance test against the other.
For thickness, my spoken 12.0–12.1 mm figures describe an approximately 12 mm profile. The video also records changing readings during jaw positioning, including 12.2 mm at 2:03 followed by 12.0 mm at 2:04. I would not present that sequence as a controlled thickness range or proof of exact equality with a genuine watch. Contact angle, pressure and the surfaces touched need to be consistent before drawing a fine dimensional conclusion.
What my movement explanation does—and does not—establish
I attribute this watch to VS Factory and identify its movement as Dandong 3285, after an introductory verbal hesitation. In the later commentary, I contrast purpose-built movement architecture with a base movement carrying an added decorative assembly, and explain why construction can matter to case packaging.
That is my technical explanation, not an internal inspection of this sample. I do not open its caseback, demonstrate a decorative module, or establish a 7750-based alternative in this recording. Nor do I measure accuracy, power reserve or long-term reliability. My stronger spoken comparison with the genuine watch goes beyond what these exterior checks can prove. For existing movement evidence, see the DD3285 page.
How this adds to my earlier Sprite checks
My left-crown handling and bezel review covers handling; the dial-centre inspection examines appearance and identification limits. Here, the additional evidence is the scale and caliper sequence. The date shows 26, but that does not establish whether this is the same physical watch used in the earlier recording. No factory version or batch is established.
In a Sprite community QC discussion, participants separately assess alignment, date-window appearance, end links and timing. That is useful context for the questions owners ask, not verification of this watch. My measurements answer only part of a sample check; they do not replace those separate inspections.

Strengths
Original scale and caliper displays are separated from rounded commentary, with sample and setup limitations.
What to watch for
No standardized link count, certified calibration or controlled contact-pressure protocol. Closed case; no independent movement architecture or performance validation.

Questions answered
Does every VSF Sprite on Jubilee weigh 141.64 g?
No. That is a visible scale reading from this recording. Bracelet sizing, protective film and the support arrangement were not fully standardized, so it is not a universal specification.
Does an approximately 12 mm thickness prove DD3285 is fitted?
No. I identify DD3285 from my knowledge of the watch, but the closed-case thickness check cannot verify internal architecture. Movement identification needs suitable internal evidence.
