Detailed review
What this Panda inspection adds
In this review, I examine the white Panda dial of a Daytona sample I identify as VS Factory with Dandong 4131. The useful addition to my earlier Daytona reviews is the close inspection of the contrasting counter rings, hand finish and crystal edge on this particular watch. I also operate its clasp and chronograph, but this is an exterior inspection rather than an opened-movement examination.
If you are checking a similar Panda, message me through the WhatsApp button on this page. I can help you decide which dial angles and operation footage will answer your questions about the actual sample.
What I can establish from this sample
- Configuration: white dial with dark counter rings, black tachymeter bezel with a visible metallic surround, and a three-piece-link Oyster-style bracelet. This corresponds to the 126500LN design; I do not authenticate a reference engraving in this recording.
- Attribution: I identify VS Factory, also called VSF, and Dandong 4131 or DD4131. The caseback stays closed, so the movement name is my identification, not an internal view supplied by this video.
- Evidence: dial and hand close-ups, a side-on crystal view, internal clasp markings and a brief crown/chronograph demonstration. There is no weight, timegrapher, reserve or pressure measurement.
- Version: no numbered factory version or dated batch is established. The material-folder number is not a version identifier.
Rolex's white-dial 126500LN reference describes the genuine white dial, black counter rings, Oyster bracelet and black Cerachrom bezel. I use that as design context, not proof of this replica's materials or movement supplier. The site's 126500LN reference provides the related entity context.
Panda dial: separate texture, proportions and hand finish
At 2:34–3:20, I move in on the hands and three subdials. Against the white dial, the dark counter rings and their light markings are easy to locate. In my commentary I describe their circular finish as concentric snailing, or a CD-pattern texture. The recording preserves the changing appearance as I tilt the watch; it does not measure groove spacing, depth or ring width.
These are separate checks. A ring can have a pleasing circular finish without its proportions having been measured against a reference. Likewise, a tilted shot can make one ring or marker look different from another. For QC, I would request a square-on image for alignment and proportions, followed by oblique views for surface texture. Here, reflections and the protective sticker partly obscure the lower dial, so I would not infer a small defect or certify perfect alignment from one frame.
I also describe the hands as slimmer than the earlier 4130-style design at 1:45–1:53. That is my design comparison from experience: I do not place a second watch alongside this Panda or measure either handset. My comments about smooth polishing and the hand centre are exterior assessments. A visible centre cap does not reveal the internal construction of the hand pinion, and the printing process I describe is not demonstrated in the film.
A RepTimeQC Panda discussion illustrates why buyers ask about counter-ring thickness, marker alignment and chronograph-hand position. Its participants assess another watch. Their opinions do not establish a batch change, a dimensional standard or a verdict on my sample.
The bezel surround and crystal edge
At 1:53–2:06, I point to the metallic rim surrounding the black bezel insert. At 3:20–3:30, I turn the watch sideways to show the raised crystal edge and the sloping transition I describe as a chamfered, stepped profile. This side view is more useful for that question than a face-on photograph.
It adds a Panda sample view to the crystal-edge discussion in my VSF versus Clean Daytona comparison. There is no Clean watch beside this sample, so I am not repeating that comparison as a new paired test. My spoken descriptions of ceramic, sapphire and 904L steel remain material attributions; this review includes no composition, scratch or hardness test. Nor does the profile establish identical dimensions to a genuine watch.
Clasp and controls: supporting evidence, with limits
At 3:43–4:22, I inspect the clasp edges, open and close the clasp, and discuss its lettering and M5X marking. I like its handling feel, but that is a tactile judgment rather than a durability result. The code is a sample descriptor, not a factory certificate; my black-dial Daytona controls and M5X review explains the identification limits in more detail.
At 4:22–4:56, I manipulate the crown and demonstrate a short chronograph sequence using the upper start/stop control and lower reset control. The central chronograph hand moves and returns toward its reset position. The footage supports operation over the short sequence shown, not a precision reset-alignment measurement or a complete elapsed-minute/hour-counter test. For internal evidence, use my separate opened DD4131 movement inspection; I have not established that the two recordings show the same physical watch.

Strengths
Panda dial and handset close views, a crystal side profile and traceable supporting clasp and control evidence.
What to watch for
No open caseback, paired comparison, ring-width measurement, material assay, timegrapher, weight, full counter-cycle or long-term reliability test. Reflections and protective sticker limit fine inspection.

Questions answered
Do the Panda dial and bezel rim prove DD4131?
No. They help describe the exterior design. I identify DD4131 in the narration, but I do not open this sample. Movement identification requires its own evidence, rather than an inference from dial colour, a clasp code or the bezel surround.
Does this review establish thinner subdial rings or a new VSF version?
No. I discuss the subdial texture and show the rings, without a dimensional measurement or a matched earlier sample. There is no verified new-version claim. The useful evidence is the appearance of this Panda under the filmed angles and lighting.
