My VSF Bruce Wayne Measurements: Diameter, Thickness and Jubilee Weight

I measure a VSF Bruce Wayne on Jubilee: a 40.1 mm diameter reading, 12.0/12.1 mm thickness displays and about 143.8 g, with sample and setup limits.

Detailed review

The measurements I recorded

In this review, I put a grey-and-black GMT on a digital scale and check it with a caliper. The useful evidence is the instrument display and the way the watch is positioned: a 40.1 mm diameter reading, thickness displays of 12.1 and 12.0 mm, and an assembled-watch weight of approximately 143.8 g. These measurements document the sample I handled; they do not authenticate its factory or balance architecture.

If you are comparing a Bruce Wayne measurement with mine, message me through the WhatsApp button on this page. I can help you check whether the bracelet setup and measuring positions are comparable before drawing a conclusion from the numbers.

My sample and the readings

I introduce the watch as VS Factory, also called VSF, with a Dandong 3285 or DD3285. Its grey-and-black bezel, black dial, green GMT hand and Jubilee-style bracelet correspond visually to the 126710GRNR Bruce Wayne configuration. I do not expose the movement in this recording, so the DD3285 identity remains my spoken attribution.

The key readings are:

- Diameter check, 1:17: the caliper displays 40.1 mm across the bezel area. I call this a bezel-diameter measurement in the narration.
- Thickness check, 1:37 and 1:40: the display changes from 12.1 to 12.0 mm across the shown placements. The subtitle continues to state 12.1 mm.
- Complete-watch weighing, around 2:10–2:25: the scale shows readings including 143.81, 143.82 and 143.83 g. My spoken summary of 143.8 g is an appropriate rounded description, not an invariant reading to the hundredth of a gram.

What the caliper actually establishes

I show the caliper at zero before measuring. That is useful preparation, but zeroing alone does not establish the instrument's accuracy or calibration.

During the diameter check, the jaws span the bezel area with the crown outside the measured span. The clear 40.1 mm display supports that particular placement. It should not silently become a certified case-body diameter or a factory tolerance. My earlier wording of “exactly 40” is a rounded description; the later 40.1 mm wording matches the visible reading.

The thickness sequence is especially worth keeping intact. At 1:37, I show 12.1 mm. At 1:40, the display reads 12.0 mm while the same 12.1 mm subtitle remains on screen. I am handling the watch and caliper, with protective coverings still visible. Contact position and pressure are not controlled to a laboratory standard.

I therefore preserve both displays. The video does not establish that every VSF Bruce Wayne is exactly 12.1 mm thick, or that 12.0–12.1 mm is a production tolerance. For comparison, I would want the same contact surfaces and a clear side-on view, not just a cropped number on a display.

Interpreting approximately 143.8 g

I weigh the watch with its Jubilee-style bracelet and clasp attached. At 2:16, the hands are clear and the display reads 143.83 g. Other views in the sequence show nearby readings, consistent with my rounded 143.8 g commentary.

The bracelet extends beyond the scale platform, and the footage does not independently establish every point of support. The installed link count is not documented, protective films and the yellow sticker remain, and no calibration weight is shown. Those conditions matter when comparing this result with another watch. I do not infer steel grade, hidden weighting material or movement identity from the measured mass.

A VSF Bruce Wayne QC discussion also uses a reported weight as part of a genuine-equivalence judgment. That is community context, not a controlled reference measurement. I would not use another owner's number to certify this sample or turn a small difference into a factory diagnosis.

Where this fits beside my earlier GRNR checks

My Bruce Wayne clasp and GMT-setting review documents exterior and operating details. My Wu Ka Du sticker inspection examines the label and its identification limits. This recording adds instrument readings and their measurement conditions, without claiming a new version or different batch.

Although I describe a free-sprung DD3285 at the start, I later ask whether the balance is truly free-sprung and announce a future comparison with an older regulated balance. That comparison does not occur here. Dimensions and mass cannot answer the question. I retain the uncertainty alongside the existing DD3285 movement information; the original recording date and exact batch remain unknown.

Strengths

Readable caliper and scale displays, with separate thickness placements and rounded-versus-displayed mass distinguished.

What to watch for

Measurements apply to this setup only. Link count, full scale support, contact pressure and calibration unknown. No factory authentication or opened-balance evidence.

Movement summary

Dandong 3285 / DD3285 — spoken attribution; movement not exposed

Questions answered

Is the measured thickness 12.0 or 12.1 mm?

Both displays appear during my handling sequence. I retain 12.1 mm at 1:37 and 12.0 mm at 1:40 as separate observations under the shown placements, rather than declaring one invariant specification.

Does a weight of about 143.8 g prove VSF or a free-sprung movement?

No. It records this assembled watch under the visible weighing conditions. Bracelet links, protective coverings and support conditions limit comparisons, and the movement remains concealed.
